August 17 奥运的气氛除了偶尔看看NBA，我平时不看什么体育节目。这些天奥运开始了，一直在关注中美奖牌的拼搏，基本上每半个小时刷新看一次（没时间一直趴在网上，呵呵）。晚上回到家里，也是一边做饭，一边看WESH2的转播。菲尔普斯的八块金牌加七项世界纪录真的是一个传奇！中国体操运动员的精彩表演还是令世界惊叹！奥运会确实给生活带来了激情。我都在担心以后没有奥运会的日子该怎么过，那将是多么的乏味。 奥运开始之前，西方媒体对中国的负面报道都让我有抑郁的趋向了。有人在离奥运还有一年的时候，就开始唧唧歪歪了，说什么中国一定会拿到最多的奖牌，然后表示出不屑一顾的态度。小布什在奥运前夕也不忘重拾旧题，恶心众人。生活在一个对自己祖国没有尊敬的国家，真的是一种折磨。然而奥运一开始，大家都专注于各国运动员的表现了。拿到奖牌是对实力的最好证明。看到祖国健儿们的奋力拼搏，我真的十分感动。If you get one medal, you really deserve it! 不知道中国到底能不能最终在奖牌榜排名第一，中国加油吧！！！ August 09 The ring ceremonyI participated the ring ceremony yesterday at Philips Center. Obligation of An Engineer
I am an Engineer, in my profession I take deep pride. To it I owe solemn obligations.
Since the Stone Age, human progress has been spurred by the engineering genius. Engineers have made usable Nature's vast resources of material and energe for Mankind's benefit. Engineers have vitalized and turned to practical use the principles of science and the means of technology. Were it not for this heritage of accumulated experience, my efforts would be feeble.
As an Engineer, I pledge to practice integrity and fair dealing, tolerance and respect, and to uphold devotion to the standards and dignity of my profession, conscious always that my skill carries with it the obligation to serve humanity by making best use of the Earth's precious wealth.
As an Engineer, in humility and with the need for Divine Guidance, I shall participate in none but honest enterprises. When needed, my skill and knowledge shall be given without reservation for the public good. In the performance of duty and fidelity to my profession, I shall give the utmost.

July 15 最近的一些生活乐趣这个暑假过的也不怎么HAPPY。但是感觉上充实了一些，知道自己整天该干些什么了。回想以前的日子，虽然看起来不错，只能用愚昧两个字来形容，或者说是LOST。因为以前根本不会去想自己以后干什么去，现在是不得不考虑了。秋季的时候我会在哪里呢，大家可以做个竞猜，到时候我公布答案，呵呵
开始说HAPPY的事。话说我来到美国还没有出过FLORIDA州呢。上个月SUMMER BREAK终于出去了，而且是别人赞助的。
先去了MD的GERMANTOWN面一个小公司。感觉小公司的生活基本和学校差不多，或者更寂静一些。第一次现场，欣喜又慌张。总之就那么牺牲掉了。早上四点起床，晚上十二点到家，如果面上了，以后的日子也是难以想象的。
回来休息了十个小时，第二天一点又要出去。SAN DIEGO，就是那个有个超大的动物园的SAN DIEGO，而且靠近MEXICO。下午见到了久违的保东夫妇，重新感受到了23系同学的友谊。虽然AVIS让我提了辆红色小敞蓬，叫什么PONTIAC-SOLSTISE，但是我由于“身负重任”，始终没有抽出时间去享受一次。时机还没到呢。如果彪一次的话，就SAN DIEGO的路，我说不定早就挂了。休息了一晚，迎来了第二天七小时的连续面试，当时真是累坏了。面试的过程比较单调。下午去保东家，一边吃饭一边谈面试的事。大家都觉得没问题。但我还是感觉到了那么一点点征兆。不然的话，我们下午可以玩的更开心。晚上从海边回来时，头晕的厉害，可能是海风太凉了，而且那几天比较累。回来本想看会电视都看不进去，我想是DEVIL太多的缘故。第二天顺利回到了家，嗓子疼了好几天。本来还以为要吃些药，一个礼拜后却自己好了。Florida真是个好地方。
两次面试，收获很大。除了花掉别人两千刀的快感，坚定了生活的信念，明确了未来的方向。
2008，what a bummer. However, no matter how the thing is going to change, just make each day count. That's what I can do. I believe, something good is in store for me. It's just that, the time has not yet come. So, I guess I'd better be prepared.
